Caring For Your NEW Boots
NEW boots are made to last. With good care and attention they last up to 10 years (Depending on usage). You should expect any of our range of boots to serve you well for at least 3 years, if they do not experience massive trauma.
- Always check the integrity of the boot after hitting a fence. The shock-absorbing guard is made from composite plastic which is designed not to shatter, but can crack upon extreme high impact in very rare cases.
- Ensure that as little debris becomes stuck in your Velcro as possible, and if some does get stuck simply pop in the mashing machine and then hand-pick it out or alternatively use a Velcro brush.
- All of the boots are washed best by hosing down after a muddy ride (especially the AiroFlow range) before the dirt has chance to dry, however all the performance boots including the magnetic therapy boots can be machine washed on a low heat (we recommend 30o or lower) to prolong their life.
*cooling GelCels not machine washable.
- Boots with fleece lining should be brushed before every use, brushing all of the fleece to lay in one direction to provide maximum comfort and protection against debris.
